Justice as an Essential Component of Peace

The United Nations University (UNU) in collaboration with the International Criminal Court Liaison Office in New York and the Permanent Mission of Sierra Leone is organizing a Midday Forum event entitled: “Justice as an Essential Component of Peace".  The programme will be composed of two parts; the first part will present the topic of balance between Peace and Justice, and the second part will develop issues in general discussion session.

During the seminar, Ms. Karen Odaba Mosoti; head of International Criminal Court Liaison Office in New York focus on international efforts to find a balance and between peace and justice. H.E Allieu Ibrahim Kanu (Deputy Permanent Representative, Permanent Mission of Sierra Leone to the UN) and Mr. William Pace (Convenor of the Coalition for the International Criminal Court) develop this issue in general discuss session
