International Day for Biological Diversity Symposium 2009

The International Day for Biological Diversity Symposium 2009 will be held on May 22 at the United Nations University Headquarters in Tokyo. Focusing on the issue of invasive alien species, the symposium will provide an opportunity to enhance the understanding of the issue through keynote presentation and panel discussion by reseachers and practitioners in the field.
This symposium is organized by National Institute for Environmental Studies, UNU-ISP, UNU-IAS, the Global Environment Information Centre (GEIC), and the Ministry of the Environment, Japan.
Simultaneous English-Japanese interpretation will be provided.
