This event, organized in collaboration with the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences at the University of Tokyo, will celebrate the launch of the recent UNEP report from Conflict and Peacebuilding: The Role of Natural Resources and the Environment, as well as showcase emerging research at UNU-IAS and the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences at the University of Tokyo on the intersection of environmental change, natural resources, livelihoods and peacebuilding.

Learning Collective Intelligence and Competences for Sustainable Development

The goal of this presentation is to facilitate an intellectual discussion on pedagogic principles for developing collective intelligence and learning competences for sustainable development in higher education. The presentation will show the results of a comparitive analysis of the pedagogic approaches and the competences expected to be learned.
