UNU-ONY: Africa Series Three-- The Social and Economic Dimensions of HIV/AIDS in Africa

After holding Africa Series One and Two, UNU-ONY successfully organized the symposium of the UNU-Cornell Africa Series-- Afirica Series Three: the social and economic dimensions of HIV/AIDS in Africa on 9 September 2008 at the UN Headquarters.
There were 20 speakers and around 200 audience attended the whole day symposium. UNU organized video conferences and colleagues from Accra, Addis Ababa, participated in the symposium for the morning session.
The symposium was also webcast live from the afternoon's session.
